How to "side load" your ebook reader

I am now able to sell books directly through my website in partnership with BookFunnel. You can purchase my books with Paypal using your preferred method of payment safely and easily. BookFunnel will give you immediate access to the book file where you can download in .MOBI (Kindle) or .EPUB (Nook, iPad, etc). BookFunnel will also send you an email with further instructions and another download link, in case you accidentally close your browser. And the good people at BookFunnel have spectacular customer support, in case you have a problem.

There are two ways to sideload your Kindle.

Method 1: Email your file directly to your device. Log in to your Amazon account and select Account and Lists. Choose Your Content and Devices.

Select the Settings tab, and scroll down.

You'll see Send-to-Kindle Email Settings and Approved Personal Document E-mail list.

The Send-to-Kindle Email Settings will show you the unique email address of your device.

You'll enter your own email in Approved Personal Document E-mail list, and then only you can send emails to your kindle. You can send yourself PDFs, images, and even movies!
