Kiss Me Before Dawn

Zombies…vampires…
She can’t decide which she hates more

My name is Mystic. I’m a private investigator-slash-bounty hunter in a world gone sick. Eight years ago a swift parasite turned 80% of the population into brain-dead, flesh-eating monsters. It was like any zombie movie you’ve ever seen, and then again, it wasn’t. With their food source threatened, vampires came out of the closet and established a shaky alliance with surviving humans. Yeah right. Not in this lifetime, thank you very much. Before anyone ever knew vampires truly existed, I saw one kill my mom. I will never trust a vamp, let alone allow one to dine from my vein.

Now my boss expects me to team up with one to find some lost kids who’ve been kidnapped by their money-extorting mother. Christophe is as hot as a cherry pie baked in August, but a vamp is a vamp. Still, I need the perks that come with the job, so shoot me, I accepted the assignment. A girl’s gotta eat.

If I can only stick to the case without getting my jugular, or any other body parts penetrated, I might come through this in one piece.

Valentine Bride

A free short story sampler

After being jilted at the altar by her fiancé, Virginia Montgomery quit her job and moved a thousand miles away to manage Hotel Amore on Little West Cay, hoping she’d never see that no-good coward Thomas Bennett again. But Fate and Mother Nature conspire and whip up a little Valentine’s Day magic to bring Virginia and Thomas back together.

You know what they say; Fate doesn’t take no for an answer, and it isn’t nice to mess with Mother Nature.

One Snowy Night Before Christmas

Jessica Jeffries hates Christmas. With all the commercialism, stress and chaos, there are a lot of people who feel the same way. But Jessie has more reason than most for hating it. She’s been robbed, dumped, caught pneumonia, broken her leg, and this year she ran over Santa Claus with her truck.

Tom Dunham’s holiday is turning out to be pretty awful. Not only is he suddenly responsible for a six-year-old daughter he hasn’t seen since infancy, but Amy holds him personally responsible for uprooting her, making it impossible for Santa to find her on Christmas morning.

Things go from bad to worse when Tom’s car breaks down on a freezing mountain road, but he gets a reprieve when a young woman who looks more like a Victoria’s Secret model than a tow truck driver comes to his rescue. Suddenly things are looking up—until she runs over an old man with an eerie resemblance to St. Nick.

Once Upon a Christmas Carol

He’s trapped in the town Christmas threw up on!

Trey Janssen only wants to settle his late mother’s affairs and get back to San Francisco, but he finds himself trapped in the town Christmas literally threw up on when he’s arrested for drunk driving—right after a Dickens In The Park actor proclaims he’ll be visited by three spirits.

The ghost from his past turns out to be Celia Brown, the innocent Girl Next Door he deflowered before leaving town on a football scholarship. Now he’s hoping for a repeat or two of that night, because pretty Celia Brown has something all the nameless, faceless, one-night-stands of his wild pro-athlete lifestyle didn’t—but it will take ghost number two and ghost number three to show him exactly what that something is.
